Production Line: Canister Shell Line

Twelve machines across six stages, covering inner and outer tube production, chemical preparation, shell filling, time fuse work and bundling. Canister work punishes loose tolerances more than cake work does. Tube concentricity and fuse seating decide whether a shell breaks at the right height, so the tube machines on this line run tighter than their cake equivalents even where the frame looks identical.
